Housekeeper - Cleaning Team

We're looking for dependable, detail-oriented individuals to join our Housekeeping Team. This position plays a key role in ensuring every property meets Southern Comfort Cabin Rentals' standards of excellence. Our housekeepers embody our core values and take pride in creating warm, welcoming, and spotless homes for our guests and owners.

Job Description

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Create a welcoming and spotless environment for guests and homeowners.
Professionally clean and maintain vacation properties in accordance with company standards.
Identify and report damages or maintenance needs by submitting detailed maintenance tickets.
Respond to and complete touch-up cleans as needed.
Replenish consumables such as soaps, toiletries, and paper products.
Maintain and service hot tubs as assigned (training provided).
Build and maintain positive, open communication with team members and management.
Consistently meet established housekeeping performance metrics.
Attend all required team meetings and training sessions.
Perform other duties as assigned.

PERSONALITY, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Dependable and professional with a strong work ethic.
Reliable transportation and ability to travel between properties as needed.
Smartphone and personal email address are required for communication and scheduling.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Positive attitude and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Comfortable using technology, including apps and digital tools.
Prior housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
Physically able to stand, walk, and move for extended periods and lift to 30 lbs.
Must adhere to all company policies and safety procedures.

Maintenance Technician

We're looking for a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and help keep our homes, facilities, and offices in excellent condition. This position plays a key role in ensuring that our vacation rental properties operate smoothly, safely, and beautifully for both guests and homeowners. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in general maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical systems and takes pride in quality workmanship, problem-solving, and customer care.

Job Description

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Open, manage, and complete maintenance tickets through our task management system.
Install, program, and troubleshoot Point Central smart locks and door access systems.
Perform general property maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work.
Assist with linen support when needed.
Perform gas fireplace cleaning and small repairs.
Troubleshoot maintenance-related issues efficiently and thoroughly.
Install and perform minor repairs on hot water heaters.
Complete small carpentry repairs as needed.
Inspect and maintain company offices and operations facilities.
Assemble grills and other property equipment.
Provide excellent customer service when addressing guest issues at properties.
Troubleshoot appliances and complete minor repairs.
Handle small plumbing issues and repairs.
Troubleshoot TVs and other basic in-home technology concerns.
Assemble and repair bear bins.
Participate in the rotating after-hours on-call schedule.
Conduct safety audits and report concerns promptly.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Strong carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance skills.
