The cabin was generously stocked with essentials. Perfect location for going to the marina or clubhouse area. Beautiful views! Our second stay. We had a totally relaxing time!

Cozy and comfortable with enough space to spread out for family of 8. Would have liked more wash rags and towels for each bathroom and bath mats in front of showers and tubs. Light in master bedroom needs bulb to be replaced. The fan turned on but the ceiling light would not. Cozy, clean stay all in all and would come back!

This is the second time in as many trips we have stayed at the Elk Horn lodge. We love the location near the south gate with the golf course and lake close by as well. It is always clean and well stocked with basic kitchen needs. The house was the lerfect size for our group of 6 and easily could have accommodated more people. Im sure we will be back again next year!

This property is as advertised. Really nice in a very nice community. IGA is a great grocery store. Because of the toddler we chose to do small outings and eat most meals at the property.

This is a beautiful house in Big Canoe. This house is made for a great getaway in the north Georgia mountains. We had the best time and will use this as our go-to house at Big Canoe.

We had four couples and the layout was great. Plenty of room to be together or steal a few moments and be alone. Love all of the fireplaces, inside and outside. Great location! Short drive to apple orchard, vineyard, shops, and food. Would recommend to others and look forward to going back!

We stayed for a long weekend over the Christmas holiday and it couldn’t have been more perfect! We had an issue figuring out the main fireplace and called for maintenance, and they came out immediately, and also sent the propane company to refill the gas just in case. The house itself was beautiful, clean and even larger than the photos. Can’t wait to come back!

We were amazed by this spacious cabin located in a stunning gated neighborhood that reminded us of a national park. Before our arrival, there were power outages due to a storm and the host called and kept us posted until the power was back on. We were appreciative of the thorough communication. The area where we stayed had tons of walking trails, 3 dog parks, and a massive lake. We will be back!

We rented Elk Horn for a weekend "girls" college reunion gathering. The house slept 6 comfortably, with room for more, was nicely furnished and had all necessary kitchen supplies. There is a nice view but the house is at a low altitude compared to much of Big Canoe so no one got lost going to and fro. We appreciated the nice level walk around the charming neighborhood and the easy drive to the clubhouse where we enjoyed several good meals. The ladies also enjoyed a pontoon boat ride, Home Restaurant, the close by consignment stores and shopping and dining on Main Street in Jasper. The Jasper merchants look forward to our return, I think, and so do we!

Our stay at Elk Horn over the last few years is ideal for our family and friends. Our recent stay 9/26-10/26/16. The first week we had six family members, we enjoyed Oktoberfest in Big Canoe it truly fun event. There is always something to do fishing, hiking, going on jeep trail, or the doggy park. We enjoy walking around Choctaw Village. People are so friendly. There are many fall festivals in the surrounding towns. The house it self is really comfortable, large living room gas fireplace (total of 3).Nice comfortable furnishings. My favorite fireplace is on the screened porch off the master bedroom, delightful on fall morning or evenings. There is a full kitchen everything you need to cook, pots, pans, beautiful dishes, mixer, coffee pot and wine glasses. There is a complete family room downstairs includes small refrigerator, wine cooler and microwave and fireplace. There are two bedrooms one with bunk beds and bath. the another with a queen and bath.. Family said they were very comfortable.. Upstairs we enjoyed having the great room open to the kitchen and being able to interact with our guests. Upstairs there is a master bedroom with a lovely en suite, guests find it very comfortable and quiet. The first floor master bedroom is comfortable, with a lovely en suite. We enjoyed visiting the club house sitting on the veranda watching the sun set over Lake Scotti. We have appreciated Mountain Home Rentals of GA. the managers do a great job to facilitate and take care of any problems that might arise. We are looking forward to spring, it truly is beautiful time of the year. Visiting Gibbs Gardens in the spring is a must. The daffodils and flowers are remarkable just five miles from Big Canoe..

This is a beautiful home and was perfect for three familes to share during our family reunion at Big Canoe. Five grandchildren from 1-10 enjoyed the bunk beds and finding a huge bag of legos and other games in the lower family room. It was nice having a master suite on the first floor. The location is good for getting to golf and all the activities at the swim club.
