Beautiful property. Loved that all the bedrooms had king beds and private bathrooms. Everything was very modern and very clean.

We have been traveling to the mountains over a decade now and we saw our first bear at the Vista Rustica. He came to get our trash at 11 at night. It was exciting to see one, scary especially with no shades on windows seeing him, and just didn't want him to hurt himself on things he shouldn't be eating so we banged on the window after he broke into the bin to scare him away from taking the only bag that was in there. He just decided to take the can in the backyard and then took the bag out and down the hill he went. He then came back to see if there was any more, but lucky there was not. Thanks for the bear experience.

This cabin exceeded all of our expectations. It was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with every convenience; the basement had fun, reclining movie chairs and a big tv, darts, games, puzzles and a fabulous hot tub on the deck. The outdoor fireplace and the view were also big pluses. We needed a relaxing escape and Hawksnest gave us that and more.
