Beds Were Sooo Comfortable!

Clean, Private & Beautiful View

The cabin is clean, reasonably decorated, private, and fairly well stocked. The view is decent, especially considering the ease of access from the main road. I think a few additional minor ammenities would make a big improvement.

We loved our Vista Rustica Cabin getaway. The layout was great for us. Kitchen had everything we needed. Nice appliances. Beds were all comfortable and it was nice having a bathroom on each level. My husband loved the bar area. The indoor fireplaces were awesome and easy. The outdoor fireplace and pit we used a lot. Could have used more blankets and some more towels. Maybe by the jacuzzi area. Towels were small and scratchy. Be prepared to have 4 wheel drive. It is a challenge to get up. Not sure what would have happened if we encountered another vehicle coming up or down opposite us. I’m glad we did not have to find out. We got some snow flurries (we were hoping to get snow, we don’t get that in Florida) and even got to see a bear. Overall a great experience and we would recommend visiting this cabin.

Thank You For Our First Bear Experience!

We have been traveling to the mountains over a decade now and we saw our first bear at the Vista Rustica. He came to get our trash at 11 at night. It was exciting to see one, scary especially with no shades on windows seeing him, and just didn't want him to hurt himself on things he shouldn't be eating so we banged on the window after he broke into the bin to scare him away from taking the only bag that was in there. He just decided to take the can in the backyard and then took the bag out and down the hill he went. He then came back to see if there was any more, but lucky there was not. Thanks for the bear experience.

This Is Our Favorite Cabin Yet!

This cabin is truly awesome. Now we know why its on your main web page. The screened in porch with fireplace was our favorite spot each night and we got to hear the frogs sing. Beautiful view. Great amenities Outside area by the fire pit was awesome. Just to sit in the backyard was so relaxing. The drive up to the cabin was so easy. This is our favorite cabin yet. Pool Table & Sound System Were A Hit!

The Quality of The Furnishings Was The Best!

The floorplan was the best as well as ths quality of the furnishings. Please note: During my stay, I noticed carpenter bees had put new holes near the front entry way. It would have been great to know that getting to the property has a hill and gravel, therefore All Wheel Drive vehicles would work best. Also, it would have been nice to know that bears frequent on the property. A bear came nightly to get the garbage out of the closed garbage bin.
