We have always loved our stay with soco cabins. And we so appreciate the quality of inventory, attention to detail, cleanliness, and over and above the staff provides.

Property: Sassafras Lodge

This is by far my favorite cabin in Blue Ridge. The comfort and amenities are far beyond what you would expect. It made it hard to leave to come home. Highly recommend this luxurious home to anyone how wants a piece of the mountains with the feel of home.

Absolutely stunning views, with hot-tub, freshly remodeled and beautiful interior, super relaxing area with walkable river park, and restaurants/shopping nearby. Our family had a wonderful experience and will 100% be staying here again. The owners of this property are also wonderful and very accommodating.

I did not receive directions until 2 1/2 hours out. I called day before and you assured me it would be sent to me that that - not. I called several times to be put on hold for over 10 minutes. Then, one we got there, no wood. Then the TV didn't work unless we pushed the buttons behind the TV. You did respond to those needs although we had to be at the cabin and the maintenance man said you have problems with this TV. Although responsive to our needs, these are basic things that should have been checked. Also, there should be written instructions inside the cabin for TV, garbage, checkout, etc. The cabin was very clean.

The outdoor fireplace was the highlight of our trip. GREAT SPACE! Could use some work. The rug was filthy. The chair was ripped. I didn’t find out what info I missing to complete my arrival info until a day prior to my departure. I tried to find it but couldn’t. Then I had to sweat waiting on instructions and the address until just heading out that way. I’m a “planner” that was hard. I did like you included fire starting logs, firewood, and basic amenities. LOVED THAT OUR DOG COULD JOIN US!

Absolutely amazing cabin. It felt like a home away from home in the beautiful mountains. The owners thought of every detail, it was incredibly clean and our kids loved the bunk beds and game area. We loved the fishing spot, the kids loved putting out the deer food and our family enjoyed the spacious deck overlooking the mountains. A perfect family getaway. We made so many memories. We can’t wait for our next visit!
