Celebrating 41st Wedding Anniversary with children and grandchildren.

All communications with SCCR were timely and professional. All of the necessary info to access the home was provided. The home was well maintained and comfortable. Although we did not need assistance, it was good to know someone was available 24/7 should we need it.

The crow's nest with its spectacular views, was comfortable and an excellent hideaway for quite time and reading.

Husbands 60th birthday getaway

Crows nest is absolutely beautiful! The views are some of the most beautiful here that I have ever seen. The wrap around porch is where we spent most of our time! Booking was easy as well as the departure. Plan to come back to Crow’s Nest around February!

Quiet Getaway

Everything was perfect from the booking to the leaving. The house was wonderful with an amazing view. The entire family was happy with just staying there at the cabin and relaxing. The location was perfect, not too close to town and not too far away. Quite getaway with wife, daughter, son-in-law, son and daughter-in-law.

It Was Beautiful!!

Very professional and easy to deal with. We spend lots of time trying to find a truly handicap accessible place to vacation. Hotels say they are accessible bc they have a bar by the toilet. That’s not good enough for us. We need space under the bed for a Hoyer lift. Many hotels have platform beds with no space underneath. 🙁 We found your cabin and drove 16 hours to stay in it!! It was beautiful!! We’re tea drinkers…you need a tea pot 🙂 🙂

Easy Access to 2 Decks! Worked Well With Wheelchair Access

Beautiful, spacious cabin! Worked very well as my husband uses a walker and/or wheelchair. Easy access to two decks! Upstairs suite is amazing, great bathroom and private porch! Washer dryer on 1st floor was a plus, great king sized bedroom on lower level with hot tub! Sleeps 10, only with 5 us and it was GREAT. Allowed for some remote work easily. Windows provided a wonderful view. Cabin very well equipped for eating in and management communication was good! Wish I could of brought my small dog, I would of never left. 🙂

Didn't Want to Leave this Luxury Cabin

This is by far my favorite cabin in Blue Ridge. The comfort and amenities are far beyond what you would expect. It made it hard to leave to come home. Highly recommend this luxurious home to anyone how wants a piece of the mountains with the feel of home.

Perfectly Suited For Wheelchair Access

The Crow's Nest was perfectly suited for our disabled family member who is in a wheelchair. She was extremely comfortable the entire trip and was very impressed that she was able to be with the family both on the main floor,as well the lower level. Having access to both bathrooms was also impressive!

Extraordinary Experience!

The property exceeded anyone's expectations! The home is an absolutely breathtaking work of architecture. I couldn't stop admiring all the little touches that made it unique. The best property we have rented to-date! The views from the decks were astonishing. Every morning I would get up early enough to watch the sunrise while drinking my coffee and reading a book on the deck in the peace and quiet of the mountains. My biggest excitement came on our last full day (Friday) - while drinking my coffee and reading on the deck, I heard some noise in the trees, looked down, and there was a black bear walking just below in the foliage. I have to say my heart stopped for a moment before I realized what an extraordinary experience I was being privileged to. I woke up my husband quietly so he could come and take some video, which he did, then one of our children woke up and was able to also watch the bear for a few minutes before he moved on into the trees. What a morning that was. The people of Blue Ridge and the surrounding areas are the most friendly and helpful people. I would recommend a vacation visiting Blue Ridge to anyone looking for a little adventure and quiet quality time with their family. Awesome!!
