Project Chimps Hiking Trails

Project Chimps, located in Morganton, Georgia, offers visitors the unique opportunity to hike four distinct trails totaling approximately 4 miles. Open daily from dawn to dusk, these trails cater to various skill levels, from the easy 1.2-mile Nature Trail to the more challenging 2.5-mile Yellow and White Trails. As you traverse the paths, you'll be serenaded by the sounds of resident chimpanzees and may even catch a glimpse of them from the Overlook when they're in the Peachtree Habitat. Leashed dogs are welcome! While access to the trails is free, a suggested donation of $2 per hiker supports the care of the chimpanzees.
