Nature Valley Lower Falls

Nature Valley Lower Falls

This moderate 1.5-mile (each way) unpaved trail is one of Big Canoe's most popular hikes. Starting at the Lake Trail's end, it follows Disharoon Creek upstream, offering scenic views and multiple wooden bridge crossings. At approximately 1.25 miles, the trail passes several small rock mounds, thought to be Native American in origin. The trail culminates at the beautiful, tumbling cascades of the Lower Disharoon Falls. For those seeking more adventure, an additional half-mile hike leads to the multi-tiered Upper Disharoon Falls.

Location: Big Canoe, GA
