Lake Blue Ridge

Lake Blue Ridge is a 3,290-acre reservoir nestled in the Chattahoochee National Forest near Blue Ridge, Georgia. With 65 miles of shoreline, the lake offers crystal-clear aquamarine waters ideal for boating, fishing, and swimming. Approximately 25% of the shoreline is developed, while the remaining areas are preserved forest land. Amenities include campsites, multiple boat ramps, a full-service marina, and public picnic areas. Anglers can enjoy fishing for species such as bass and walleye. The lake was formed in 1930 with the construction of the Blue Ridge Dam on the Toccoa River, which is now managed by the Tennessee Valley Authority for hydroelectric power production.
