Helen to Unicoi Trail
The Helen to Unicoi Trail is a 5.2-mile out-and-back path that connects the city of Helen to Unicoi State Park. Starting at Unicoi Hill City Park in Helen, the trail crosses lower Smith Creek and meanders through mountain laurels and rhododendrons, culminating at the Lodge at Unicoi State Park. Rated as moderate, it's suitable for hiking, walking, running, and nature trips year-round. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash.
