The loop features gentle climbs, notably a 1,000-foot ascent to Wolf Pen Gap, followed by a rewarding descent along Duncan Ridge Road (FS 39). Riders can enjoy scenic vistas from the ridge, overlooking peaks to the north and south. The trail's terrain varies from paved sections to dirt and gravel roads, making it suitable for riders with intermediate skills seeking a blend of endurance and scenic beauty.
