Blue Ridge Adventure Race

Blue Ridge Adventure Race

Celebrating over 30 years, the Blue Ridge Adventure Race is one of the longest-running and most iconic outdoor races in the Southeast. Held annually in May in downtown Blue Ridge, this multi-sport event combines mountain biking, hiking, paddling, and navigation over 8- or 24-hour formats. Participants race solo or in teams, navigating the rugged terrain of the Blue Ridge Mountains with just a compass and map. The event draws both seasoned athletes and first-time adventurers eager to experience the thrill of racing through forests, rivers, and mountain landscapes. Featuring pre-race meetings, gear staging areas, and post-race meals and awards, the Blue Ridge Adventure Race is as much a celebration of endurance as it is of the natural beauty of North Georgia.

Location: Downtown Blue Ridge Pavilion & Bandstand, 900 E. Main St., Blue Ridge, GA
