 Cabin is well appointed and taken care of. Installed some new appliances, new furniture and lighting so that was a nice surprise. Great company to work with. Responds quickly to calls and emails.

It was a beautiful cabin in a great location. No TV in main living room might be a drawback to some. It was not to us as we wanted to unplug; however, the fireplace would not work when we arrived neither inside or outside on main level. That was a bit disappointing. I tried to call to report but just sent to voicemail. I emailed next morning and still no response. Finally, on the day before checkout I reached someone to ask checkout time and told them and was serviced that day. Ryan came and got the fireplace on the inside to work with the switch after the office notified him. It worked great then.

We checked in and I have to say that we are overwhelmed with the cabin. As always it was well cleaned and maintained. The views are insane. I have to admit that before we came into the cabin I was worried that we may not have long range views. Well after touring the cabin it was well worth the trip and rental. We have never been disappointed with any rentals.

We had initially planned to stay in a 7 bedroom lake house for a family getaway, however, 48 hrs before arriving we were notified that there was a problem with the cabin and had to choose another property that was not as large and accommodating for our large group. We were pleasantly surprised when we were notified by Bob, the GM of Southern, the morning of arrival that the original property would have the necessary repairs made and we could get into it for our stay. Bob went.above and beyond to get our family where we wanted to be, even allowing for an early check in, giving us his cell number for any other issues, went on a walk through at the property to assure everything looked ok and texting often to assure there were no further needs by us. All of the staff that I spoke with were very kind, knowledgeable and accommodating. Excellent experience by us and just want to say a big thank you for providing us with.an amazing family time. Great team work southern comfort cabins and also to the repair staff who worked very hard to get our temporary home ready.

The home looks newly updated and provided several different gathering areas for our group (dining area, living room, back patio, huge front porch, firepit, basement/game room, etc.). There were 6 in our party, but the number of beds/baths would offer an even larger group plenty of private space. One of the best surprises was how secluded the cabin felt but how close it was to everything. It was easy to find off the highway, and took only a few minutes to get to hiking, the lake marina, and nearby towns. Both Blairsville and Blue Ridge had awesome restaurants, shops, and breweries to visit before coming back to the cabin to cook out and get together with our group on the large front porch overlooking the forest. We would definitely stay here again and plan to come back to check out more of the area.
