Cleanest Cabin We Ever Stayed In!

Bearing Haus Cabin was perfect. We have stayed in other cabins before, but this was the cleanest cabin we ever stayed. The cabin was beautiful, close to the activities (hiking, Mercer Orchard, downtown Blue Ridge, Wineries) We spent a lot of time in the game area and in the hot tub. We roasted marshmallows in the outdoor fire place. We loved the cabin and hopefully will be back soon.

Recommended This Cabin to Several People!

I've already recommended this cabin to several people. The screen in porch was a big (huge) bonus for me, and I spent most of my time on the rocking chair enjoying the fresh air without worrying about bugs. My kids loved the pool table and TV and game area in the basement. We all had our own space. 

Renting was easy. Cabin details were explained in straightforward manner. Check in and check out details, as well as everything we needed to know about the cabin was also very well explained. Cabin was very clean and comfortable. No excessively long pre-departure cleaning list.

Location Was Perfect!

I usually book with Airbnb but the prices were cheaper. Also, Airbnb has gotten absolutely ridiculous with checkout rules expecting the guest to clean the house completely when in the total price we paid for the cleaning fee. Great cabin and very clean. Location was perfect. It felt like you were completely away from everything when in reality you were a few miles. Very quiet and easy to access!

We Have Never Been Disappointed

We checked in and I have to say that we are overwhelmed with the cabin. As always it was well cleaned and maintained. The views are insane. I have to admit that before we came into the cabin I was worried that we may not have long range views. Well after touring the cabin it was well worth the trip and rental. We have never been disappointed with any rentals.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bearing Haus. The cabin was clean and well kept. The layout was perfect for a family with teenagers. Each floor had its own space with TVs, deck areas, and comfortable gathering areas. So, everyone could be together when they wanted but also have their alone time, when needed. The cabin is easy to access and very close to both grocery stores and outdoor adventure areas. Yet, you still don't feel like you're in a crowded area. We would definitely return to Bearing Haus for another visit.

The stay was great it was 5 guys who are used to our wife's taking care of us but the cabin has everything in the right place so even 5 helpless guy could take care of themselves with no issues. This cabin is in a perfect location. The guest has access to the Aska area and the National forests while being only 7 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge. The area is secluded though the roads are paved to your doorstep. It is the perfect location to enjoy all the downtown amenities while having close proximity to world class fishing on the major river and its tributaries.

Our stay was WONDERFUL! The couples that were with us really like the set up and the how vey well the property was kept. Each couple said that they will be coming back again. We may try and come back again for the summer time. I just PRAY that the mosquitos are not BAD!

The stay here was excellent. We loved the cabin both inside and out. I loved the outdoor fireplace and dining and also the screened porches.

The two biggest negatives were minor in nature, but are easy fixes. I feel like any cabin with a game room should have ESPN on the TV or sport channels. This is a natural pairing. Also, it would be nice if all the CD players were replaced with blue toothspeakers. Ideally, one on the deck and one in the game room.
