Overall wonderful stay!

It is difficult to find a cabin large enough for all 16 of us, and this cabin met our needs perfectly. The cabin was perfect for our family of 10 adults and 6 children including a seven week old and a two year old. The older grandchildren (ages 6,7,9,11) loved the bunk room with bunk beds and twin beds. Being on the lake was a new experience for our fall trip to Ellijay/Blue Ridge, and since the weather was quite warm, swimming was an activity we had not planned on. It was wonderful.

There are few cabins that sleep our crew of 10 adults and six children (some of whom are two small to sleep in the bunk/twin beds). This was nice because I didnt have to resort to renting two adjacent cabins as I have had to do in the past. We might like to rent the same cabin in 2019.

What a wonderful getaway destination! The cabin was lovely, great location, clean, spacious and it had everything we needed.

The only issue we found is that the air conditioning compressor sounded like it was about to go. It ran a lot and never really cooled down upstairs. We never called because the kids upstairs seemed ok and it wasnt too hot.

The cabin was everything we expected based on the online description and photos. The only thing we didn't like was how hard the bed was. We prefer a softer mattress (personal preference), but other than that it was great. Would also have liked to see a larger parking/turn around spot. I drive a full size crew cab pickup truck and it was difficult to turn it around.

I loved it and cant wait until we can come back. The only thing I would change...I would love to be able to bring my two small dogs. I adored this cabin. Very clean. We never left the whole weekend. Never felt the need. Especially enjoyed the outside spaces. Cant wait to come back.
