This cozy creek side hideaway was recently remodeled by one of the area's top craftsman and tastefully decorated to accommodate the person who is looking for style and comfort. Hothouse Hideaway is literally steps from the soothing sounds of Hothouse Creek. A spring-fed waterfall directly across the creek from the cabin will simply lull you into relaxation. Kick back and soak in this peaceful setting from the open air hot tub or gather around the outdoor fireplace in the pavilion.


Inside Hothouse Hideaway you will discover a variety of handcrafted touches from the stone countertops to the hand hewn wood beams, stacked stone and barn wood trims. It's exactly what you would imagine in a rustic mountain home, but all new. The fully equipped kitchen is ready for you to prepare that mountainside meal with something hot off the gourmet KitchenAid grill located right outside the front door, or brew a cup of coffee with the Keurig as you make breakfast. Just off the kitchen is a quaint dining area and cozy living space to curl up by the fire or gaze at the spring fed falls out of the large picture frame window. This is the ultimate place for relaxation.


Both bedrooms face the creek and have their own bathrooms with amazing stone showers. Bedroom one is set up with two full beds in a real log bunk frame, so you can let a couple "camp out" together or give two or three kids plenty of sleeping space. The main suite boasts a beautiful hand made barn wood bed frame that nestles a comfy King bed, vaulted ceiling, large windows and walk out access to covered porch steps from the hot tub.

The Location Was Beautiful and the Cabin was Clean and Had Everything We Needed For a 3-Night Stay.

We stayed at Hothouse Hideaway and it was absolutely beautiful. The location on the creek was perfection. The cabin itself is small, even for a family of 3. They could get rid of a couple peices of furniture, especially the side table in the living room. But it does not matter that much because you will want to be outside as much as possible! The pavilion with fireplace was THE BEST! If you chose this cabin. It was because of the creek, ans trust me it's worth it. You want to be outside as much as possible. We played in it, fished, and even caught a rainbow trout... and we are no fishing experts! It is som magical out there, and I did appreciate not feeling totally alone. There is a cabin right next door, but we still had plenty of privacy. It was so relaxing just sitting there watching and listening to the creek. There is a TV out there so the kids can put their shows on while you sit and relax to the sounds of the creek. We are already thinking about coming back there in the fall. I wish the outdoor Pavillion was screened in, that is the only downside. It was not as buggy as I would have expected for summer by a creek, but man some of those bugs were scary looking. And upon returning from the store I was bit on my face by something flying at me as soon as I got out of the car. I had a huge red bump on my face for about 2 hours, then it was gone. Be mindful that you are really in the woods out there. We saw 2 beautiful huge deer walking on the driveway. But the creek.... absolutely clear and beautiful. LOVED IT!

Everything Advertised & More!

We rented this cabin to celebrate our 38yr anniversary. It definitely did not disappoint. It was everything advertised and more. The outdoor area, waterfall and creek make this cabin a hidden gem! So serene! The hot tub is a great addition as well. You can relax in the hot tub and listen to the sounds of the water in the creek. The cabin is located about 15 mins from downtown Blue Ridge. So if you’re looking for a peaceful stay away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, this cabin is the one you want to choose! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and definitely would recommend to everyone!

We highly enjoyed our stay! The property was quiet, clean and attention to detail was lovely! We were surprised and thankful for the extra touches like dish tabs, dish soap and sponges since we forgot to bring our own. The property was well maintained and high quality furniture was so nice and made our stay comfortable! The outdoor space was our favorite though! The covered outdoor fireplace with tV, hot tub and right on hothouse creek was amazing and peaceful. Its our new favorite cabin for sure!

Hothouse Hideaway is the place to go for relaxation and getting away from the hustle and bustle of life. The sounds of the creek will lull you into a relaxed state and you wont want to leave! The decks are amazing with plenty of seating! The cabin is small and cozy; perfect for a couple or small family.

This place is amazing! From the moment we arrived we found Hothouse Hideaway to be pure bliss. The sound of the creek and outdoor seating area were perfect! Our family really annoyed this peaceful, secluded cabin and will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Very cozy, quiet, beautiful place indoors and outdoors. The beds were super comfortable and the sheets, bedding and pillows were very comfortable and cozy. Loved the outdoor fireplace with tv above, even tho we didn't use the tv outside it was a great added feature. We really enjoyed sitting outside listening to the creek and the sounds of nature. The hot tub was a huge hit, very relaxing, it could use a little maintenance, one of the pillows was missing on the hot tub, but not a deal breaker. We had a blast and will definitely be back.

We loved this area and cabin. We will definitely be back soon. The cabin is beautifully made and situated in a beautiful area. Even though we did not explore the towns due to COVID-19 we found plenty to do in and around the cabin. Thank you!

Hot House Hideaway is a beautiful, secluded cabin an easy 15 minute drive from Blue Ridge and in a good location for other local attractions. Beautiful setting next to a creek. We were able to enjoy the outdoor fireplace even though it rained thanks to the covered deck. Perfect for a couples getaway, or a small family gathering.

I loved it and cant wait until we can come back. The only thing I would change...I would love to be able to bring my two small dogs. I adored this cabin. Very clean. We never left the whole weekend. Never felt the need. Especially enjoyed the outside spaces. Cant wait to come back.

Exceeded every expectation in the most positive fashion! We escaped Florida around Christmastime in search of somewhere that would provide holiday spirit. We were greeted by an abundance of it as we opened the door to this adorable little cabin. The tree all lit up and the decorations and the Christmas music playing was just the icing on the cake. That moment for me was the absolute best part of the entire trip. It was above and beyond our expectations!
