Prepare yourself for privacy at your own slice of Heaven in Lazy Bear Cove nestled deep in the North Georgia Mountains.


This 2 bedroom, 2 bath with an open master king loft sleeps six guests and is pet friendly! Lazy Bear Cove is equipped for good times while making memories that are sure to last a lifetime. As you pull into the drive, you are greeted by a stone firepit, warm and inviting lights and the sounds of nature all around. The open floor plan with a gas log fireplace, sets the tone for a nice, restful, and peaceful vacation on mountain time.

A queen bedroom and full bathroom with a shower and tub combo is found on the main level. A fully equipped kitchen and dining table with bench seating for six is perfect for breakfast, lunch or family time every evening. The king-sized master suite can be found in the open loft with a full bath including a shower and tub combo. Down the hall is a private queen room.

When it's time to explore the great outdoors, make your way to the stone outdoor firepit. Bring your marshmallows, graham crackers, and chocolate bars to enjoy roasting smores and keeping warm by the fire on the chilly Fall and Winter evenings. When you are ready to relax, take a rest in the hot tub on the back deck, light up the stainless-steel grill and enjoy some hot dogs and hamburgers or maybe your favorite steak.

Dog-Friendly Cabin:  This cabin welcomes your furry family members with open arms!  Up to 2 dogs can enjoy the vacation alongside you, making for unforgettable memories. Our pet fee helps us maintain the comfort and cleanliness of our cabins for everyone to enjoy, and we are excited to welcome!

Fall Vacation

Easy process and good communication. There were some problems with the cleanliness of the cabin itself. The entire staff was quick to respond and excellent communication. I wish I could remember the name of everyone, because they were all great, but Holly is the person I dealt with the most. Was disappointed with the cleanliness, BUT as I’ve already stated, the staff was EXCELLENT and PROMPT at responding.

 The hospitality of everyone involved was amazing! They were very receptive, and willing to answer any question we had. It was a seamless stay and a beautiful place to create memories! The cabin was idyllic for a little getaway, especially with the fire pit and the hot tub. The Bear Theme Is Lovely

Our stay at Lazy Bear Cove was very enjoyable. The bear theme is lovely. The cabin is secluded at the end of the one-lane gravel road making enjoying the surrounding woods and creek so nice. Cozy, well stocked, secluded but close to the most adorable towns: Blue Ridge, McCayesville, and Copperhill are only about 20 minutes drive away. Thank you for such a lovely get away.

I would come back. Very clean all you needed to cook with location was great peaceful and quiet sat by the fire pit read books saw many deer while there. Nice to go on day trips and come back to a comfy place to stay
