Located on over 5.5 acres in a tranquil mountain setting, privacy and convenience dance hand in hand. Feast your eyes on the long-range mountain views as you relax on the porch and listen to the sounds of nature. Walk through the front door and immediately feel immersed in the essence of mountain living as the floor to ceiling stone fireplace towers above you.

Enjoy a cozy fall or winter evening in front of a crackling wood fire as you read your favorite book, or snuggle with your loved ones. The fully-equipped kitchen invites the chef of the family to create culinary masterpieces, of which you can enjoy at the dining room table while you stare outside at the mountains, like mounds of earth reaching for the soaring sky.

Your slumber needs are met in each cozy and tastefully decorated bedroom. The entry level offers a queen bedroom with a bathroom across the hall, complete with a tub/shower combo. The upper level boasts the primary king bedroom with a 40" TV and private balcony with hammock! Just outside this bedroom sits a spacious loft with a custom built-in office nook. Take some time in the loft to scan through the DVD library offering 200 movies.

On the lower level a 3rd bedroom awaits with 1 set of bunk beds. The entertainment area includes a 55" TV, an air hockey table, and comfortable seating.

Enjoyed our five day stay. Cabin was immaculate with wonderful decor. Definitely displays “pride in ownership “. Only thing to remark on is the kitchen tends to be a little dark perhaps a light over th kitchen sink. A few different sizes of sheet pans and cutting boards would be good. Other than that the kitchen is extremely well stocked. Definitely would like to rent again and will recommend.

The views are incredible and being in the mountains in the fresh air away from everything (but still close enough) was the best feeling. The cabin was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We loved it so much we didn't want to leave!

Well Maintained!

We enjoyed our entire stay, didnt see any bears. That would have been the icing on the cake. The property was well maintained and clean. The decor was great making it feel very homey.

Such a cute cabin! Sweetly decorated with little touches - the pictures do not do it justice. It was perfect for our needs and our family of four was able to reconnect playing air hockey and checkers, relaxing in the hot tub and watching Christmas movies. Also, we love to be close to town, so the proximity to Blue Ridge was great.

We absolutely loved staying at Away From Everyday! Me, my teenage daughter and her boyfriend went just for a getaway to the mountains from Florida and we had an amazing time. The cabin was beautiful and perfect for our stay. It was well equipped with all the amenities that we needed. The kitchen had everything we needed to be able to cook meals, which kept us from having to eat out too much. It was a perfect location with a beautiful mountain view. The weather was also perfect! We are already planning our trip to come back and stay in the same cabin next year!

The weather was superb so we were able to sit outdoors a lot. Plenty of seating on the huge wraparound deck. Cozy cabin with a great mountain views. Plenty of space, clean and very comfortable. Away but close to town. Quiet and peaceful.

Nice place overall. We would probably look for a different cabin next time, but this worked out pretty well. Thanks. The basement level wasn't very comfortable. It was freezing and this is where my kids were sleeping. The air conditioner intake was in this room so it was also loud.

The only thing I would consider adding to this property is a light over the kitchen sink. It is very difficult to see when washing dishes, preparing food, etc.
