Hawksnest is extremely nice house and we enjoyed our visit immensely. It is a wonderful cabin to return to after a day of exploring all the area has to offer. Cabin was excellent on every level. It was well stocked, great layout, lots of amenities, top notch beds and linens, many options to spread out and relax. Especially loved the outdoor fireplace and large hot-tub. The movie/game room was fun, too! Note: Although you do not need a 4wd vehicles, the driveway is very tight and cannot accommodate 3 large trucks/SUV types. Overall, best cabin in our 10+ years of visiting the area!

I rented this home with my two children and their families which included 4 children ranging in ages from 2 - 9. The house was perfect and had a wonderful view. We fished at the marina and swam at both pools. Our favorite amenity was the Beach Club. My 4, 6, and 9 year old grandchildren loved the rock slide. We a!so enjoyed the canoe, paddle boards, paddle boats, and kayaks.

We have stayed with Southern Comfort Cabin Rentals for the last several years. It's the only cabin rental company that we have used. Our cabins are always extremely clean and just what we are looking for. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We have had a few issues with our code not working when we arrive over the last few years, but it was easily resolved with the after hours number.

Very easy to work with and we enjoyed the property. It’s great for a couple staying downtown Blue Ridge. It is walking distance to most of the restaurants and shops.

Cabin was everything I wanted it to be and more! The most beautiful cabin I've ever stayed in! Had gorgeous views, incredibly clean, and wonderfully decorated! My only complaint would be that the furniture on the main floor was worn out, you could feel the springs in the couch. Other than that, I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this cabin!
