Property: Serenity

Reel Medicine was exactly what our family had hoped for. It was a beautiful, well appointed cabin nestled deep in the mountain woods. The incredible outdoor areas provided hours of outdoor family time. This was one of our favorite cabins we have stayed in. This cabin was beautiful! You can tell a lot of time has been put in to creating an enchanting outdoor area. We spent more time on the large porch and river-side backyard than anywhere else. The beds were so comfortable, the kitchen well stocked and everything was so clean.

This property was our favorite of the 5 we've rented. The walkability of the street was most important as our other rentals were on mountain roads that were too steep to walk safely or comfortably, especially since cars tend to travel too fast on winding roads.

Grand Bluff Retreat is simply stunning. All areas are very well maintained and spotless. Its obvious the owners care about their property and want to provide a high quality, comfortable, enjoyable stay for their guests. My favorite area by far was the outdoor space with the wood burning fireplace, comfy sofa and that view! Simply amazing. We ate all of our meals overlooking the mountains and enjoyed a fire every night. Even in mid-summer the cool mountain breezes kept things pleasant. When we could tear ourselves away from the views, our family enjoyed playing pool, shuffleboard, ping pong, air hockey and basketball at the cabin as well as hikes and some time on nearby Lake Blue Ridge. Such a fun, peaceful, relaxing place to spend a week,
