The whole process was very smooth -- from making a reservation online, to following the directions provided by Southern Comfort, to checking out -- there were no surprises. The cabin was fantastic! It was comfortable and clean. Since only my husband and I stayed in this three bedroom home, it was convenient to have the master bedroom on the main floor. The basement with the theater seats, wet bar, pool table, and vintage video games was a fun space. We would rent this cabin again!!

We had a great time. Your home is beautiful. Our stay will definitely be one to remember. We shared lots of laughs, and even an argument or two, but made wonderful memories. Perfect location, we enjoyed the beautiful view while drinking our morning coffee on the deck..

We enjoyed the house while on a family vacation. Loved the gorgeous views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Right on hiking and biking trails. The lake was perfect for boating, water skiing, and swimming. The house was roomy and very clean. Perfect for our family gathering. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions and were helpful in suggesting places to eat and things to do.

We have stayed here several times. What a great house and location. Right on hiking and biking trails. Spectacular views. The lake is wonderful for boating, fishing, skiing and relaxing. The home is beautiful and comfortable. You will love it.

Unbelievable! What a great time, and the view is mesmerizing, the view changing with clouds and sunlight. Game room was awesome. HOT TUB in the morning sunrise was great! Can't beat this spot!

We had a wonderful time at Big Canoe! Plenty of room for the entire family and enjoyed the cooler (no humidity) in the evenings. Very convenient to the pool and lake beach which we thoroughly enjoyed. Just a couple of suggestions - There are no non-breakable glasses for kids to drink - we solved that by buying some plastic cups. The tablecloth on the dining room table is tough with kids. Moves around a lot - we ended up taking it off and had to wash it. These are just small inconveniences - we had a great time!!!

Brown Bear Visita is at the top of our favorites list for mountain view cabins! The attention to details is evident throughout every room/ space in this beautiful cabin. We WILL be back ! Absolutely beautiful cabin! The living spaces were incredible- bedrooms on every level , allowing privacy . Game room a wonderful space and the large den overlooking the outside deck was amazing. The screened in porches on both sides of cabin so nice! We will rent again!

Great service and competitive prices! : Cabin is in good location and we enjoyed watching the wildlife. Propane firepit on the deck was really nice. The cabin was extremely clean. 5 stars we'll definitely be back.

Everyone I dealt with at Southern Comfort was very responsive and provided excellent customer service. Further, the guest amenities provided by Southern Comfort (such as bathroom toiletries) were an unexpected bonus. We've rented a lot of houses throughout the years and have never seen that.
