Falling Leaf - Family Friendly Cabin Rental

Wonderful set up. Other than what we believe were a couple misprints in the listing the stay was great. There was wood for the fire pit and if it’s cold the gas fire place will cook the upstairs. We had a fire every night. Great outdoor space for kids and our dogs. The boys explored the woods and the dogs loved it. (Better for medium-large dogs) It was like moving into our temporary home and the management team took care of us. Thank you

A very comfortable cabin with great amenities that is not too far off the beaten path. Out of all the cabins I've been too, this is the first one that wasn't hard at all to drive in and out of! Blue Ridge is on the other side of the highway and has a lot to offer.

Great property , location and interior decoration .. very well kept The only feedback - check in at 4 pm while checkout is at 10 am which makes the overall duration pretty less .. if it can be made as per hotels like check in at 3 pm and checkout at 11 am it will be better

Excellent property and the location was amazing. We found the home to be as described and a lovely place to spend a working week away from home. My husband worked during the day - no issues with the wifi and there was a lovely side table at just the right height he could use as a desk. I got to hike, explore nearby Blue Ridge, try the local vineyards and spend some money shopping in the local towns. Every restaurant in Blue Ridge we tried was great and we even cooked a little in the kitchen - all the dishes and utensils you could want were there! Just a note, there is a coffee maker but no single cup Keurig-type machine so pack ground coffee not pods. Don't worry, though, found some amazing coffee beans at Kaffehouse in downtown Blue Ridge. We also brought our dog, the dog run was awesome and really helpful to give our dog a chance to stretch her legs between walks. Speaking of walks, the neighborhood is a beautiful area to take a walk in - plenty of hills to challenge you and your pup but also beautiful trees and lots of wildlife. Saw deer and owls at sunrise on our walks. Also, we brought our low-profile electric vehicle and has no trouble getting to the cabin - following the directions sent to you with your check-in instructions is definitely the way to go! This cabin really does feel like you are in the trees and at night, even though you're only a mile from downtown, you might want to close the windows in case Bigfoot decides to peek in. Loved it - definitely coming back to this neighborhood the next time we're in Blue Ridge.

Fallingleaf was a lovely property for our family of seven. We had taken our adult children on a long needed vacation. This property is one of the best we stayed at. Between the hot tub, covered porch, and large fenced yard for the dogs, there was some thing for everyone! I think one of the biggest hits was the cards table. We had lively games each night. And you are just a few minutes from downtown Blue Ridge and Lake Blue Ridge.

This was the perfect place to get away for a couple of days! The cabin is beautiful and well maintained. Everything that we needed was there! The stores and restaurants are close but we also felt like we were far away from everything. It was perfect! The only complaint I might have is the beds are a little hard for our taste. And the sheets were a little scratchy. Possibly need a higher thread count on the beds.

The cabin was well equipped with tons to do with the family (games, hot tub, air hockey) unfortunately the inside fireplace was broken but they warned us ahead of time.

Everything was great with our experience. The location was perfect with only being 5-6 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge. The only thing that could have been improved in my opinion was the functionality of the tv in the master bedroom. Other than that everything was great!

Very nice place. Location is great. Only a few minutes from downtown Blue Ridge. The beds in the loft are small. It’s for kids. It will be better if it is a true twin size bed. The master bedroom bed is hard. Also need more comfortable pillows.

The house was excellent, our only complaint was the dishwasher was not working, we did not discover this until later in the stay and did send a message to the property management team. Not sure what the end result was but did not hear back from the team.

Great private house for a quick getaway in the mountains. Very clean, spacious, and has a wellstocked kitchen. We enjoyed the board games and fire pit. Being close to downtown restaurants and shops was also ideal since we were only here for the weekend.

The cabin was fantastic. Very clean. The hot tub was great. Kitchen was well stocked. The only complaint I had was trying to get in touch with the property manager before arriving. They responded a lot when I first booked the cabin but when I had some questions about a month before our stay, they never responded. But it’s okay. Still had an awesome time and the place was great

Enjoyed rest, games, and TV. Heat slow to warm the house at first. Difficult steep steps and loose gravel in entry. Non-slip treads on steps advisable. Loved well-stocked kitchen and nice big dining table.

We absolutely loved the cabin and its location. It was perfect! The only complaint was the trash cans outside were completely full when we arrived, so there was quite an odor. Otherwise, the property was perfect!!!
