A Frame Of Style - Modern A-Frame in Blue Ridge

The A-Frame of Style was an absolutely beautiful vacation property. It looked just like the photos (even more lovely!) and had everything we needed during our stay. Despite it raining our entire visit and losing power at one point for a short while, we still had a fantastic time and felt very much at home during our stay. It was comfortable and relaxing. The property management company was helpful and sent updates about the power and checking in and out. The door leading from the bedroom to the hot tub outside had a broken door handle when we arrived (it fell off when we tried to open it) and there was no fitted sheet on the bed (there were two flat sheets instead), and the bathroom door handle was very loose but still worked. Southern comfort did have someone come out while we were there and fix the doorknob that fell off. Overall, this was a great stay and we hope to come back!

Great rental for a weekend getaway. The location off the creek was very pretty and the house itself was a delight! Beautiful, well maintained, A Frame that fit our needs perfectly. Check in and check out was a breeze, coordination with Southern Comfort was seamless.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a weekend getaway and it was truly a 10/10! It was so calm and peaceful with the sound of the creek running and chill autumn air. Only issue was when we arrived the lock code was incorrect - however I saw this is a problem with past visitors so I knew to call the after hours line and she fixed it immediately for us! Lovely place and we hope to come back as soon as we can :)

We loved this cabin, we wished we could have stayed a lot longer. It was beautifully decorated - more Scandinavian-rustic than Appalachian-rustic, which was a welcome change from most of the N GA cabins we have stayed in. The bed and linens were super comfy, the hot tub was ready to go, and the Sonos sound system was a very cool perk. Opening the French doors in the kitchen and the bedroom provided a wonderful connection to the peaceful forest. We used the chiminea on the last evening, and it such an easy an pleasant way to have a fire, now we kind of want one at home too.
My only word of caution about this cabin is that the refrigerator and freezer are *very small*. They are built into two drawers in the kitchen island, so you kind of have to Tetris your items and hope you didn't bring too much. The icemaker in the freezer didn't work, but it was very cold so the ice trays made ice very quickly.

Just to help summarize, here are some pros and cons.
Pro: Quiet, beautiful, peaceful location
Con: You can see some neighbors, not not completely alone in the woods
Pro: Hot tub
Con: no instructions anywhere in cabin or app
Pro: Comfy bed
Con: Living room sofa is kind of broken down and remaining seating not very comfortable.
Pro: Wonderful deck and stairs to river
Con: No thought was given to clearing out area at river so guests could enjoy water
Pro: Well appointed kitchen
Con: Freezer door is tricky and breaks easily, ice maker not working. I have seen this as a comment before, but
obviously they are not worried about fixing.
Pro: Easy to find and enter
Con: Some instructions were "general" to other houses that this company manages. Would be nice to have SPECIFIC instructions/directions/entrance info for this cabin.
100% I would return!

Very beautiful and secluded! We loved the design and environment. We had trouble at check in with the code not working. We had to call after hours and get a new code. Also there were some things not cleaned as well as it could be? But overall it was a great stay and we would stay again!

Lovely A Frame location and property, well designed and very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Hot Tub was little confusing to get warmed up and couldn't seem to get the jets going. Way too many emails & texts from Southern Cabin and Airbnb with differing & inconsistent information for instance a check out code to be typed in the lock for check out but the code was not included in the check out instructions so had to go back through the emails to find the code I was recalling. Also cabin details included that Youtube TV would be available but we only found the sign up screen. It appeared that the emails are structured to be sent for a few different cabins which is just too much information to sift through for stuff that may not pertain to your specific cabin. The cabin itself was lovely but I don't know that I would book through Southern Cabins again.

This location was perfect! You could hear the River from the porch, I loved the set up and all of the windows. It was a trip where we didn’t leave the cabin much and it was so comfortable and cozy for that!
