Amicalola Falls

Located within Amicalola State Park, the falls drop 729 feet in seven cascades; Amicalola is said to be the highest waterfall east of the Mississippi. From Blue Ridge, take Hwy 515 south toward Ellijay. Turn left onto Hwy 52 East from Ellijay about 19 miles. Look for the left fork toward Amicalola Falls State Park.
